How to ProceedWhen you have selected the type of mortgage for the purpose you require, you will have the choice of dealing with us in various ways. Our website gives you the facility to submit full details of your enquiry over a secure network which will automatically be acknowledged. You will receive from us an illustration incorporating Heads of Terms of the facility we recommend. If we need further information we will contact you by your preferred method. If we cannot assist you we will inform you as soon as we know that this is the case, normally within 24 hours, and suggest any alternatives we consider suitable. If you find the business of on-line form filling daunting, you may also contact us by telephone, email, fax or traditional mail which we will respond to within 24 hours. Clients are also very welcome to visit our offices by appointment where we have excellent accessible modern facilities for private and confidential discussion with an ACL advisor and, when appropriate, the Bank's or Building Society's Lending Manager. Where this may be inconvenient, and you are happy with our Heads of Terms illustration, we can normally arrange for an Adviser to visit you. If fees are payable, or we are aware of any special conditions, this information will be included in the illustration. We undertake not to incur you in the payment of fees until we are satisfied that the facility is available for your purpose. In the case of main residence mortgages and general insurance, which are Regulated Products, we have a preference to meet you personally so that we can fully observe the FSA procedures (see FSA Information) which are designed in your best interests but can be time consuming. We will however in the first instance send you our Initial Disclosure Document which sets out the basis on which we will be instructed.
